A large turnout of Uechi practitioners had a really great day working out today. We covered all the kata, kumite and kotikiti today. Additionally we had three fantastic seminars on grappling that is very much a part of our Uechi. Rory Miller filled in the missing links with his insightful seminar of joint locks and submission hold. Overall. . . a really productive and informative day.
Our Friday night party was at the Cuban restaurant (Copacabana) in downtown Mount Dora. We took over the function room and enjoyed an authentic and delicious Cuban dinner.
Looking forward to tomorrow (Saturday) with traditional Uechi training taking place all morning.
