Hanshi Higaonna

Morio Higaonna, 10th Dan Goju Ryu, recently was named a “Intangible Cultural Asset of Okinawa for his contribution to the cultural treasures of Okinawa. He is known worldwide for his strenuous, dynamic training and devastating applications of the karate of Chojun Miyagi. Higaonna has been called the “Okinawan Tiger” and the “Deadliest” man alive but he has the heart of a servant and desire to share his art with anyone that will train.
