As part of my responsibilities as President of NAC and IUKF, I visit many dojo throughout North America. When in the Boston area, I teach classes in Newton, Massachusetts. I am assisted in this program by many senior instructors who have been studying with me for 20 years or more. The children's classes are taught by members of Shubukan. All ranks are invited to work out in this class. The program emphasizes teaching techniques and Uechi-ryu basics. The program is headed up by Paul Giella.
Special "Realism" Training at Shubukan! Students test their skills against instructors wearing protective clothing. This type of training helps the student learn to use their self defense techniques in a realistic manner. |
Intermediate classes are also conducted on Saturday from 9 - 10am.

From Rt 128 to Route 9: Take the Parker Street exit towards Newton Center. Go through Newton Center and take left on Tyler Terr. Hut is first building on the right.
Mass Pike heading East or West: Take the Newton exit. Take right onto Centre Street towards Newton Center. Three miles to Tyler Terr. Take right. Hut is first building on the right.
