Memories of Okinawa: 1960 - 1964 Kadena dojo - early 60s - Master Seiyu Shinjo in center of photo
I was most pleased to hear from the son of a black belt who trained in Uechi-ryu from 1960 - 1964 at the Kadena dojo. Thanks go out to Michael Brand, for sending me many historical Uechi-ryu photographs of his father and other early Western Uechi-ryu pioneers. I'll be posting more photos and information soon.
