Instructions
Our entire website is FireTalk enabled. This means that once you download and install FireTalk, you can talk with anyone on this website who has FireTalk installed and activated.
The first thing you must do is to install FireTalk.
By clicking on the Firetalk logo, you can choose to either download it to your hard drive and install it later, or install it directly from the FireTalk server. The installation process is painless. (your computer must have some minimum components)
Once the installation process has been completed, go online and activate the program. If you are new to this technology, I'd recommend that you select "new user" option, which will take you to the FireTalk site where you can follow a fairly comprehensive tutorial.
Once you feel confident that you understand how the system works, click on the tools menu. Go to options menu and click internet tab. Enter the Uechi conference address in the 'internet launch' section: (copy & paste)
You may wish to use a keyboard key combination to activate your microphone. That way, your Firetalk window may be in the background while you cruise this website. If someone says something you wish to respond to, simply hold down your keyboard combination and talk. Lots of support people on line all day and most of the night. You should be able to use the program within a few hours.
You must have Microsoft Explorer on your system to chat while visiting our website. From the FireTalk window, click on "Launch". This will open your IE browser to the home page of the On-Line Magazine. Wherever you go on our site, you can talk with other FireTalk users.
