This notice is to inform you that we have recently added a downloadable file in our Help page area under FIXES, that should solve issues where users have missing or damaged installation files, which is usually caused by an early termination of the original live update.
Here are the main details for your reference, that you could send to your users should they contact you experiencing problems getting the voice room to open.
Most installation problems are caused by incorrect component installation. If you are experiencing loading problems with your Voice Room then you can download and run the Voice Room Components Pack (2.3 MB): http://www.voicecafe.cc/installables/WebDeployerSupport.exe
Click on the link to download and run the program, clicking OK to any prompts.
An alternative zip file package is available here in case you have problems downloading executable file: http://www.voicecafe.cc/installables/WebDeployerSupport.zip
Download the file and extract it to a folder where you can run the setup.exe file.
Other possible problem areas of note are as follows:
If you have Windows XP, the internal Firewall software might be running.
Here are the instructions to follow to disable it:
Click on START
Then SETTINGS
then Control Panel
Then Network Connections
Right Click on the network connection (ISP) you are using.
Click on Properties
Click on the tab at the top that says Advanced Remove the Check mark from the
box in the section that says Internet Connection Firewall (next to the box it
will say "Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access
to this computer from the Internet") Click OK
We've also found that McAfree Firewall software may stop VIDEO from being sent
or received. You will need to either enable it to accept or disable it when
using the video. The IP address for our video server is: 64.207.153.170
