The Okinawa Prefectural Government believes that Traditional Okinawan Karate is a unique cultural asset of Okinawa that has been shared throughout the world. To promote Traditional Okinawan Karate, the Okinawa Prefectural Government is sending four masters of Okinawan Karate-Do, representing Shorin-Ryu, Isshin-Ryu, Goju-Ryu, and Uechi-Ryu, to the United States to teach this seminar. This is a unique and exceptional opportunity, which brings the Okinawan Karate experience to America. Being able to train with four Okinawan Masters from four different styles at the same event outside of Okinawa is very rare.This event will be a day-long seminar on November 8th starting at 9:00 am in New Paltz, New York, at the New Paltz High School at 130 S. Putt Corners Rd, New Paltz, NY 12561. Registration deadline is November 2nd. The cost of the seminar is $130, which includes six hours of training, lunch, and a Sayonara Party afterwards.
